I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer and is ready for another fantastic season of basketball! This is my 21st season being involved in SCAA (as a player, coach and board member) and I am excited to begin my duties as President of this great organization.
First, I would like to thank Brien Chow and other previous Presidents that not only have laid the groundwork, but have also offered invaluable advice and guidance. I am also excited for the opportunity to work with this year’s board members as we help shape the future of SCAA. They are a strong and enthusiastic group that will help keep us focused on our goal to be “all about the kids”.
Second, I would like to thank all the volunteers that donate countless hours of their time to help our organization remain successful year in and year out. Volunteers are a vital key in the success of our program and I hope that everyone tries to get involved in some capacity in the upcoming year to ensure a great season filled with wonderful memories for our kids.
