As many of you know, the Sonics and Storm have teamed up to provide us with their Legends Tour, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the organization. The tour has been celebrating the re-dedication of courts that they have helped build in the past few years.
The final stop is scheduled for Van Asselt Community Center this Saturday, November 4 at 3pm. In attendance will be all present as well as many former Sonics. They will be available at the clinic and provide instruction as well as spend time with attendants. Ken Bounds will be present to thank them for their efforts, and I'm sure that he would appreciate as much support as possible.
The Sonics have been very generous to the department over the years in many ways. The best way we can "thank you" for their generosity is to bring players ages 7-15 to Van Asselt and participate in the program. We are looking to get as many people as possible to attend so that the team hears loud and clear how much we appreciate their efforts.
