SCAA is a wonderful organization to be associated with. I feel it's a place where our Asian youth can be active through the basketball program, make true lifelong relationships, and grow as a community to mentor those younger than themselves. Growing up on Vashon Island my whole life, there were but a handful of Asian families. It's great to see through SCAA, the diverse cultural backgrounds of all of our Asian families, past and present, come together for the love of the game and the small community that has been built. Volunteering for SCAA has made me realize that I can make a difference in the lives of others. I ask that each of you commit to helping out with the SCAA organization by volunteering some time at one of our upcoming events. We would so appreciate any help that comes our way!
