Saturday, February 23, and Sunday, February 24, 2008



This year Strathcona Community Center, Vancouver, BC will be hosting a Basketball Jamboree for SCAA, for all teams from 5th through 12th grade boys and girls teams. The Strathcona Basketball Jamboree is the primary travel basketball jamboree event for all of our SCAA teams to attend. Note: Passports are NOT required if traveling by land, but ARE required if traveling by air. In both cases, a birth certificate and government photo identification (Driver's License) are required for re-entering the US.

ALERT: POLICY CHANGE regarding Vancouver B.C. Tournament Travel.

Due to child protection and welfare concerns, the US Customs and Border Patrol is now requiring that all children traveling without their parents provide the following documentation:

• Passport OR Original Birth Certificate with Picture ID (School, Permit/Drivers License)
Travel Consent Form (PDF) (They strongly recommend this consent form to be notarized.)

In response SCAA is recommending that all children traveling without their parents get their Parental Consent Forms notarized.
