SCAA is seeking to fill two positions with current players or volunteers with a strong interest in learning how to design for and publish content on our website. Basic training and mentoring will be provided. This is a great opportunity to learn some real world experience that you can put on your resume and to contribute to the organization!
General Requirements:
- Must have a computer, any relevant software and have an Internet connection
- Must be 15 years or older
- If between the ages of 15 and 18, must have written permission from a parent or guardian

- POSITION 1: WEB DESIGNER/PRODUCTION ARTIST
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Occasionally design and layout pages, banner modules, graphics and/or prep photos for posting to the SCAA website
- Be able to optimize and export images for online viewing
- Maintain style, quality and adhere to standards set by the web team
- Communicate with and be supervised by lead members of the web team
- SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Be creative and have attention to detail
- Must demonstrate basic skills in Adobe Photoshop. Other programs like Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus, but not required
- A couple of sample graphic design pieces and/or website materials designed by you are required for consideration (examples include: flyers, posters, PowerPoint presentations, personal web page, etc.)
- POSITION 2: WEB DEVELOPER
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make basic web updates such as posting news, forms, scores, event information, etc. on a weekly basis to the SCAA web site
- Communicate with and be supervised by lead members of the web team
- SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must demonstrate ability to hand-code HTML
- Must have experience in uploading and downloading files
- Must have attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- A sample of work coded by you is required for consideration (examples include: personal web page or project you've worked on)
